View from front porch, this is the 3rd year this mule deer buck has been coming into this area. When his horns start to grow, he will start eating the dirt under the porch, some type of mineral in the ground I guess.
Buddy will spend hours watching the deer, after a very short period of time they pay him no attention.
A few years ago I had a white tail doe that hung arround the shack every summer. She would eat sweet corn from your hand.

Harris Pelton Wheel, this year I replaced my old pelton wheel (built 1910). The new unit will produce the same amount of power using 1/2 the water my old wheel did.
Closeup of amp gauge (39amps), this is enough power to run a TV,computer and several light bulbs at the same time. My old system would only produce 32 amps
