BRIEF FAMILY UPDATE
AND CHRONOLOGY
I started putting this book together in the late 70's. Over ten years have passed and such hard years they have been for many of us.
Some family members have provided information for this section. I hope it is complete. I apologize for any mistakes.
The George and Ida Helle family has produced about 260 direct descendents of which approximately 240 are still living at the date of this book.
Walter said many times a big family has so many blessings it is great but the cost is so much sadness. I agree.
Starting with Lloyd's family I will give a brief update of events which took place in the decade of the eighties, including the late seventies. For the most part, I am not duplicating birth dates, etc. which can be found in other books.

Norma graduated with a BS in agriculture finance from Western Illinois University in May, 1981 and is a Public Aid worker for the State of Illinois. Dick received his MS in Public Health from WISU, Dec. 1989. He is a Lab Technician for the City of Canton Water Department. Their daughter Leah Janene was born August 23, 1983.
