Sign overlooking Arrow Lake B.C. This sign was put up to explain to the general public the official reasons for the extensive visable clear cuts along the shore line.
In this case of the Spruce Looper, what the sign does not say is that aprox 40 percent of the trees are not Spruce trees. Of course if that was explained then it would have to be explained why selective logging was not practiced.
A view across Arrow Lakes, the distance is about five miles as you can see the clear-cuts are quite large.
